Tammy,
This site is great, thanks. I am a decendant of George Mowat b. early 1700s in Scotland. He had three sons James, John & Will Moad 1752,1760,1755. They moved to the U.S. about 1775 to North Carolina and name changed from Mowat to Moad. I would love to know if you have any information on this line of Mowats. Thanks and hope to talk to you soon.

That's as far back as I go, wonder if you know of this line
Would love to hear back

Hi, the best way to hear back from anyone connected, would be to post a family tree online and see if anyone else connects.
Good Luck!

Welcome, welcome to the de Monte Alto, Mowat Family International Guest book. I thought I would start out.
I am the descendant of the tree named James Mowat 1705. If you find that someone in that tree is in yours, please contact me! I would love to fill it out more, and get closer to people related...well semi-related anyway.
If you have not joined, please go to the home page, and follow the links to Register. This site will work best as a large community.
